Yes, I'm going to use this blog to review music. Either songs or full albums. Any genre, any artist, any level of quality. (Although I'll probably enjoy good songs more. It's still fun to write scathing reviews about bad ones, though. Yes.)

Please note a few of my policies.
-If something's overly explicit, I'll most likely listen to the edited version. Personal taste, you see.
-I'll review songs based on suggestions you email me, although I may not necessarily like them.
-My review system uses five...items that are chosen based on how I'm feeling. Best score you can get is a five, worst is, naturally, a zero.
-Usually, my reviews will include a link of some kind to a place where you can listen to the song or watch a video or something.
-Direct all complaints to substandardcellist (at) gmail dot com.
